Lights Out was not only one of the first radio shows to focus on horror and suspense, but it was extremely popular.  The show ran from 1934-1947 on various networks and was one of the few radio shows to be picked up for TV once television overtook radio as the go-to place for entertainment.

“Cat Wife” first aired June 17, 1936 and starred Universal Horror legend Boris Karloff. Hit play, turn out the lights, lay down and let your imagination take over.
