Elvira’s MTV Halloween Special (1986)
We end Series One of the grab bag, not with an every year classic, not with a lost favorite, but with a special many people don’t even know existed. In 1986 (back when MTV was relevant) the music station gave Elvira four hours of programming on Halloween night and sent her to Salem, MA. The result was exactly what one would expect — goofy puns, tit jokes, skits, weird music videos, jokes about witches and plenty of cleavage.
This hard to find but entertaining special closes out Series One of the Grab Bag. You can watch it (sans music videos) below! What will Series Two of the Grab Bag bring? Who knows?!! See you in 2016!
