Horny the Clown? More like Homicidal the Clown!!
Drive Thru starring Leighton Meester of Gossip Girls was released in 2007. A horror – comedy, the movie revolves around a group of high school seniors who one by one begin to go missing.
Mackenzie, played by Meester, is the hottie virgin in middle of everything who plays sleuth attempting to solve the mystery of her disappearing friends using simple deduction and possessed 80’s toys. If it sounds ridiculous — that’s because it is. The mascot, Horny the Clown of the local burger joint, seems to be the culprit. However, as always, things aren’t what they seem.
Ridiculous does not cover this movie but it is a “good” ridiculous. This clown doesn’t just murder — he murders to a heavy metal soundtrack. I am not sure about his name because he never even attempt to have sex with any of the girls he killed. The only thing he seemed to have a hard-on for was the business of killing.
I enjoyed this movie. It had humor, plenty of murder, and was tons of fun. There were also several of cool kills including a guy losing his face after being dunked in a fryer and a girl having her head microwaved. Last but not least, this film had white trash wiggers. What could be better!? If you are up for some fun and like killer clowns this may be worth 90 minutes of your time.
