To kick of The Resurrection of Zombie 7 Version 2.0, we are travelling back to the year 1984.
First up, Sundance Film Festival’s 2018 movie of interest, Summer of 84. Four teenage boys try to solve a serial killer mystery with their local neighborhood cop as the #1 suspect.
Secondly, we look at a horror film from 1984 — a great year for horror, the slasher film, The Initiation. Girls rushing a sorority are given the task of stealing the local mall’s security guard’s clothing. How many will make it out of the mall alive? There are twists and turns aplenty in this early film in the slasher genre!
